What We Do

We work on a variety of projects that specifically address local needs

An important focus of our work will be supporting education. We want to provide pupils and students with writing and work materials, laptops and mobile phones to give them better learning opportunities and increase their educational opportunities. In addition, we plan to renovate school buildings to create a safe and conducive learning environment - also by restoring buildings that have already collapsed.

Another key area of our work is improving water supplies. In some communities in the Volta Region, people still have inadequate access to water sources. We want to support the affected communities in gaining reliable and consistent access to drinking water, either by improving and expanding existing water supply systems or by building wells.

As a sub-area, we want to improve local healthcare by providing those affected with important small medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and blood glucose meters.

We also want to support people in the agricultural sector in growing rice themselves. We plan to promote sustainable cultivation methods and ensure irrigation of the fields in order to increase agricultural production and secure the farmers' livelihoods in the long term.

Through these diverse measures, we want to help people in Ghana to sustainably improve their living conditions and create a better future for themselves and their community.
